Text: Hebrews 11:3
What Makes Faith Special?
Faith is central to the believer’s life and shapes how we experience God and His promises.
🎯 Faith Provides Understanding of God’s System
(Ephesians 3:20)
Faith expands the limits of the natural mind.
God’s methods are higher than human reasoning, and faith helps us align with His way of doing things.
🎯 Faith Is a Creative Force
(Genesis 1:1)
Faith enables us to “frame” our world.
It empowers us to speak and see possibilities beyond current realities.
🎯 Faith Brings the Visible Out of the Invisible
(Ephesians 1:3)
Faith bridges the gap between what is unseen and what becomes manifested.
🎯 Faith Pleases God
(Hebrews 11:6)
Without faith, it is impossible to please God or walk closely with Him.
🎯 Faith Is the Believer’s Life Support
(Habakkuk 2:4, Hebrews 11:6)
As oxygen is essential to the body, faith is essential to the believer’s spirit.
🎯 Faith Determines Quality of Life
The level of your faith directly impacts the quality of your results and experiences.
Biblical Examples of Giving Faith
Faith is not only about receiving, it is also about releasing.
✅ Abel: The Faith That Gives
(Hebrews 11:4)
Abel was commended not for what he received, but for what he gave.
We must grow from a “receiving faith” to a “giving faith.”
✅ Abraham: The Faith That Obeys Promptly
(Hebrews 11:8–10, 17–19; Genesis 22:1)
Abraham responded immediately when God asked for Isaac.
A key truth:
God will never place a demand where He has not already provided supply.
If God asks, it means you have the capacity to respond.
Characteristics of Giving Faith
📌 Recognizes God as the Source
When you truly see God as your source, giving becomes natural.
Struggle in giving often comes from trusting the channel instead of the Source.
📌 Overcomes the Fear of Loss
The greatest barrier to giving is fear, not lack.
Faith replaces fear with trust in God’s provision.
📌 Acts Promptly
The enemy of faith is procrastination.
Faith responds immediately.
What God prompts, faith executes without delay.
📌 Understands Covenant
(Deuteronomy 8:18)
Giving operates within a covenant system, a divine exchange between you and God.
📌 Reveals the Priority of the Heart
God ultimately seeks the heart, not just the gift.
Giving is proof of what truly matters to you.
Practical Steps to Activate Giving Faith
↪️ Consult God Before Your Wallet
Pray and seek direction before deciding what or how to give.
↪️ Give to God First
Prioritize God’s work before other financial commitments.
↪️ Give Beyond Your Comfort Zone
Faith grows when stretched.
The more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes.
Final Charge
Giving is not just an action, it is an expression of faith.
As you grow in giving, you grow in trust, obedience, and alignment with God’s system.
Closing
Happy Sunday!
